The OFD would take home Best Overall last night in our first competition parade of 2022 in Pleasantville. We also would take home the award for Best Firematic Color Guard 26 & over in the line of march. A great start to the busy parade season ahead of us this year.

As always, we give a shout out and congrats to the St. Peter’s Drum Corps for leading us down the street with their award winning music. St. Pete’s would be awarded Best Sr. Musical Unit & Best Drum Majorette! A thank you also to the Pleasantville Volunteer Fire Department for the hospitality as usual and an always great parade. Looking forward to next year already.

No rest for the weary as our feet hit the street again tomorrow night. We are heading north to the Annual Cortlandt Engine Company/Montrose FD Bazar & Parade. Step-off is at 6pm with Cortlandt Engine hosting their fundraiser bazar behind the firehouse all weekend. Come on out and cheer on your local heroes!
