Saturday morning, Chief Rinaldi (2334) along with Tower Ladder 42 assisted the Nyack Fire Department in the funeral service of a Past Chief. Ex-Chief Miles Taylor of Jackson Fire Engine Co. #3 was Chief of the Nyack FD in the Mid-2000’s. Once relocating north, he continued his love for the fire service joining the West Weathersfield Fire Department in Vermont.

Besides his fire service career, he was a track star in high school which then led him to be a Track/Cross Country Coach for the Nyack Indians for over 25 years. He was also inducted into the Nyack Hall of Fame of Coaching earlier this year. We were more than happy to assist with raising our nations colors for our brothers & sisters across the river.
