| If you’ve noticed driving around town, a bit more Red, White, & Blue and some pretty fashionable banners lining the streets. We’d like to give a shout out to the Village & the DPW for starting and executing the Military Banner Tribute Program. Village Historian Joyce Sharrock-Cole and a few other counterparts have done a great job showcasing the residents and hometown heroes of the Village & Town of Ossining.
Honoring the dedication & service of our servicemen & servicewomen in this fashion is only a fraction of what we can do to thank them. Young & Old, Past & Present, we thank you all and thank you to Joyce and others for making this a reality. This morning, a presentation was held at the Library to further showcase and honor this years banners that have been sponsored. If you’d like to take part in this project, please contact Village Historian Joyce Sharrock Cole at:

Also….you might notice some of these names and faces as they are proudly members of the OFD and other local Fire Departments. |
