Members gathered yesterday morning (5/25/25) for religious services and breakfast as we’ve done in the past in memory of our deceased members. The program and meal is held at the Maryknoll Complex. Following the services and meal, members travel to our local cemeteries to hold brief remembrance ceremonies.
As services & breakfast were about to begin, 2 mutual aid requests were received to Croton-on-Hudson. The Fire Department plots at Dale Cemetery & St. Augustine’s Cemetery were visited and wreaths laid in memory of our members that have gone before us. This long standing tradition is near and dear to the hearts of all of us in the OFD. Theses past members have laid the groundwork for our departments 213 years of dedication & tradition.
