This past Thursday evening, the Ossining Padres Hispano held its annual Fundraiser Gala & Awards Dinner at the Briarcliff Manor. Our very own Chief Sanchez was honored along with Rorie Caparelli, & Ann Dealy for their commitment to our community. Chief Sanchez has been a dedicated member of the OFD since 1989, becoming Chief Engineer this year. His years of outstanding service and commitment to keeping our community safe was the basis of his being honored this year. Many accolades from local & state officials were also presented to him and the other honorees.

Today, June 2nd, 2025 was also declared “Louis Sanchez Day” by Legislator Emiliana Ulai & the Westchester County Board of Legislators. Congrats to our own Chief “Fredo” Sanchez and the rest of the award recipients.
