Shortly before 1030pm this past Sunday night (6/8/25), the OFD was dispatched to Eastern Avenue for a reported motor vehicle fire next to a structure. Units would arrive to find an engine compartment fire that was a safe distance from the residence parked on the street. The Full Department Response was held to Engines 96 & 97 along with Tower Ladder 42 (which was already in the block) remaining for extinguishment & overhaul.

Units would clear the scene shortly before 11pm.
