This past Saturday, the OFD took part in the 136th Annual Hudson Valley Volunteer Firefighter Association Convention Parade in Lake George. The night would end with taking home, Best Appearing Fire Unit Bloused Uniform 39 or more in Line, Best Appearing Color Guard – Fire Service, and….Best Overall Fire Unit in Line of March. We were lead down Canada Street once again by the amazing St. Peter’s Drum & Bugle Corps who also took home Best Appearing Musical Color Guard.

Our feet hit the street once again on the 27th in Mamaroneck for their Annual Village of Mamaroneck Fire Department Parade which also includes their Carnival at Harbor Island Park. This is a great night for the whole family, head down to the Sound Shore and support the VMFD and enjoy the evening.
