| We hope all are enjoying their summer as we enter August. Now with our parade complete and the LOSAP Campaign in full swing, we are back to bringing you updates on your Ossining Volunteer Fire Department! These months are busy for all of us, especially with the work behind the scenes that goes into our department….we are always doing something and on the move. Also, whos gonna take the kids to the pool and on Vacation….just under 1 month left till schools back in session…gotta make the summer count!
A quick update on the OFD. We are just over 400 requests for service for 2025. Our parade season is coming to a close in September with the Westchester County VFA Convention Parade in Tarrytown on Saturday, September 20th (mark your calendars). This is also celebrating the anniversaries of Riverside Hose Co. #4 (Engine 80) 125 Years & Consolidated Engine Co. #1 (Engine 77) 100 Years of the service to the Village of Tarrytown.
We will be back to posting regularly and sharing all what we’ge been up to these past months.
Thank You again to everyone that came out Friday Night for our Annual Parade. We can not express the appreciation seeing the support from our community as we proudly march down the streets of OUR community! We are proud to be YOUR Fire Department, a tradition filled with dedication, commitment, & honor for over 213 Years.
