By now, many have seen on our social media outlets our campaign to obtain LOSAP (Length of Service Award Program) for our/your Volunteer Firefighters. It is understandable that many do not know exactly what this entails, especially for you our Ossining Village Residents.

In our commitment to make everything clearly laid out for everyone, we are always available to answer any questions regarding what LOSAP exactly is and what it means to/for you.

-How much will it cost?
-How does it exactly work?
-Is this needed/necessary?
-I thought you guys and gals already had that?
-Is it a one time deal?

This Sunday we will hold a Question & Answer Session open to all of our Village Residents. Come and spend a few minutes with us, speak with our LOSAP committee representatives to make all those unanswered questions answered!

This coming Sunday, October 5th from 1pm to 3pm, at our Fire Headquarters at 21 State Street. We look forward to seeing our fellow community members/neighbors and educating everyone on why this is a very necessary and a helpful item for our department and it’s future.
