Village of Ossining Residents, tomorrow is the day. It all comes down to your support, we are always there for you….now we need you!!!

Over the past 3 months, we have had the privilege to meet and speak with many of our neighbors and explain to all what exacty LOSAP is. This is something that yes does benefit and help us, your Volunteer Fire Department. The bigger benefit is this helping all of us as a community. Recruiting & Retaining our current Volunteer membership is imperative to continue this over 200 year service the OFD has provided with dedication, valor, & commitment. Rewarding them and the future members of our department focused on extending our volunteer based service for many more years to come with this “Service Reward” based on their commitment.

Society & our community has changed drastically, with rising cost of living in our area and the demands of life; we all have less time. With all that said, the many hours of required training, over 700 requests for service, hours of community assistance in Fire Prevention Education and Public Assistance, this all done at zero “labor cost” to our community. This is done mearly on pride, community ethic, and the dedication to providing service to your neighbors.

Many have graciously voted early and expressed their support as we’ve been out promoting our endeavor. We thank all of you that have so far turned that ballot over and voted YES! For the residents visiting the poles tomorrow to vote, we ask you do the same and support your volunteering neighbors of the OFD and vote YES!!!
