Last week, the OFD placed into service our new command vehicle. The 2025 Chevrolet Tahoe is assigned to our Chief of Department. The upfit for the vehicle was completed by RFC Emergency Lighting LLC of Yorktown Heights. It sports a full emergency lighting & Audible warning package from Whelen Engineering. The Communications equipment is all new furnished by our currently in-progress communications updating project throughout our department.
We look forward to this vehicle serving our command staff and community with the most up-to-date technology and equipment. We thank the village board and the community for the support in the acquisition of the newest addition to our fleet.
