At 11am this morning, Engine 97 & Car 2334 (Asst. Chief Rinaldi) along with Sleepy Hollow FD Tower Ladder 38 & Car 2312 arelocated to the Montrose Fire District as they operate at a 2nd Alarm Fire.
This is the 3rd mutual aid request for the OFD since the beginning of 2026. The others were automatic aid ladder requests to Croton-on-Hudson for potential structural related fires/incidents. Mutual Aid & Automatic Aid Assignments play a key role in the assurance of safe and adequate operation for all agencies. The reciprocation of helping one another strengthens the ability for all to operate with one another when a larger scale incident does occur.
