The OFD held our 74th Annual Memorial Communion Breakfast on the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend. Members gather to remember those that have gone before us and to especially memorialize the members that have past over the last 12 months. Following a service at our Headquarters monument, members saddled up and traveled to our local cemeteries to pay our respects. Our program has changed over the years, but the focus remains the same, taking the time to remember those that laid the groundwork and kept our 211 traditions & values.
Monday morning, we participated in the annual Memorial Day parade and memorial service at Nelson Park. The unofficial kick-off to Summer and the year's parade season for the OFD.
