The OFD welcomes our new Chiefs slate into their new positions. Our Bi-annual Chiefs Election was held on December 3rd, 2024 bringing our new "baby" Chief to his new position of 2nd Assistant Chief. New Years Day afternoon, members, family, friends, & village officials filled the Northside Firehouse to watch as the new Chief's were sworn in by Mayor Rika Levin.

Joseph Rinaldi from Ossining Hose enters the Chief's Office as our 2nd Assistant Chief (Car 2334). Chief Martinez moves up to the 1st Assistant's spot (Car 2332), and Chief Louis Sanchez better known to many as "Fredo" takes the reigns of the department as Chief Engineer (Car 2331). Chief Sanchez entered the Chiefs Staff in 2021. His term will run into 2026.

With the newly installed Chiefs, ends the tenure of now Deputy Chief Michael Scarduzio Jr. We thank the new "DC60" for his 6 years of dedication and leadership to our department. DC Scarduzio will be honored at the Bi-Annual Outgoing Chief's Testimonial Dinner on Saturday Evening.
