Low Angle Rescue Operations for April Department Training

Monday Evening (4/14/25), members reviewed and trained on low angle rescue tactics. The ropes & rigging necessary to complete these tasks were deployed with a simulation of an injured subject down an embankment or ravine needing extraction via the stokes basket. Granted this is not an everyday occurrence, that being even more of a necessity to be reviewed and trained on to not lose the skills and competency. The Ossining Volunteer Ambulance Corps was also on scene with us assisting in patient assessment and packaging.
