Shortly before 11:30 yesterday morning (5/7/25), the OFD FASTeam was requested to Croton-on-Hudson for a reported car fire in a garage on Newton Ct. While enroute, Car’s 2332 & 2334 (Chief’s Martinez & Rinaldi), & Utility 51 would monitor radio traffic from on scene units confirming the structure fire with heavy fire showing from the Bravo side. This incident quickly jumped to a 2nd Alarm bringing additional resources to the scene and putting the OFD FAST to work upon arrival.

Members were assigned to the 2nd floor and garage areas of the structure assisting in suppression & overhaul. FAST responsibilities were then picked up by Mohegan FD units once on scene. All units cleared the fire scene shortly after 2pm. No injuries to either civilians or members occured.
