This week we take a moment and thank our fellow 1st Responders in Emergency Medical Services. These dedicated individuals deserve the utmost recognition in what they do everyday. From their knowledge in medically treating a patient, to having the patience and empathy to care for a total stranger in their toughest moments. We thank you for being a part of EMS and being there for our community.

We especially want to give thanks and praise to the best in the business, the Ossining Volunteer Ambulance Corps or “OVAC”. Handling over 4000 calls a year and never missing a beat. To the Officers, Board Members, Paramedics, EMT’s, and attendants….we thank you all.
